Description:

The Senior Financial Consultant works with Accounting & Finance managers as well as senior management to clearly understand the requirements and objectives for the abas-ERP implementation from both a basic and high level requirements approach. abas Senior Financial Consultants work directly with the client to understand their overall Financial Process & Reporting requirements to ensure that the abas-ERP system meets the overall needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of customer’s basic and advanced financial requirements and objectives then translate to abas-ERP;
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the financial modules within abas ERP and the practical application.  
  • Lead innovative and unique client implementations of ERP software to enable streamlined coordination of order-to-cash cycle, including inventory management, cost accounting, and financial accounting processes within a single application;
  • Train end users on application functionality and application-integrated programs
  • Effectively communicate to both entry level and senior leader management.
  • Maintain a billable average of 30 hours per week.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and/or Operations Management
  • Advanced degree or MBA Preferred
  • Cost Accounting Concentration Preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% per month
  • Minimum 3 years ERP software experience

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience working in a professional services organization
  • Strong understanding of accounting practices and methodologies
  • Strong customer service orientation & skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Analytical thinker
  • Accounting software experience
  • Ability to quickly assimilate to new technologies
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) a plus
